Kitten is going through a nakie phase. Which is understandable being that she is two.
And it is currently "winter" in Minnesota. For some reason most MN kids like to hit their nakie phase just as the temperature plummets. I think it is some kind of life preparation they are engaging in.
As in, being able to survive nakedness indoors when it's 26 degrees out equals being able to survive MN outdoors fully clothed when it's -26 degrees out.
I know it doesn't make sense, but we gotta make it work out somehow!
Now if only I can figure out why, when it hits 85 degrees in the summer my same child will want to wear EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTHING SHE OWNS.
Truly, the mind boggles!
Now normally, I am not one of those moms that's super crazy about making sure my children are properly attired indoors. We have heat and if the baby wants to run around naked for the entirety of the day and only sleep in her diaper. Well, all the more power to her!
However, my standards of being proper appearal do increase, I don't know, just slightly when it comes to take said child outdoors. You know, cause I don't want the baby to freeze to death!
After another epic struggle to get the clothes and more importantly the coat on this morning we were good to go. That little one is pretty wiley!
And the best part is, she's kept her clothes on!
Normally, I wouldn't be this excited to keep a child clothed but she's been getting over her own little version of the plague for a couple of weeks now and I'm kind of sick of the robotic, stuffy sound of her voice!
So moms, what do you do to keep your kids properly attired in the winter time?

Boo went through this, and I just let it go until we had to step outside. We made a deal, nakie in the house and clothes outside. It worked pretty well, and thankfully she got over that faze before winter set it.

Slacker mom here. If she gets cold, she'll figure it out.
