The month of May has been ridiculously busy. It was the last month of Stinka's first year of preschool. She was so excited for the start of her first summer break, but now she misses school terribly and she's only been out of school for a week! LaPooh finishes up in the middle of June, she already invited friend's over for a first day of summer pool party. THEN. She told me about it. Thanks. Hun.
Constance also had her first and last dance recital. She loved dance but can't wait to play sports next year!
This month I have been flexing a lot of creative muscle. The yearbook I advise is always distributed in May and this year I've been really excited by the amount of positive feedback! Stinka always comes along for the yearbook distribution ride, I think it's mostly to play with the boxes...see above...
But more importantly, I photographed my first wedding in years. It was nerve racking day of. And based on past events in my life and um, oh, the responsibility of documenting the most important day in a couple's life I wasn't sure how I would handle it. But the day went swimmingly well and the bride gets to see the photos tomorrow!
I also have a few more weddings lined up over this summer and next. I'm really quite excited about the direction my photography has been going in, even though it wasn't the direction I thought it would go in! So if you have any portrait needs, just let me know. I probably won't accept anymore weddings, but I've been missing location portraiture! And check my website for updates soon!
Summer is gearing up, so I'm not sure how much I'll blog, but I always have tons of stories to share so perhaps you will see me around more often :-)
I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of you! You have worked so hard, and done so much! I can't wait to see the pictures from the wedding, everyone just loved you~!
